Keith McCullough: Panic-put buying ahead of U.S. inflation data came too late
Panic-put buying missed optimal window

Keith McCullough, founder and CEO at Hedgeye Risk Management, commented that panic put buying before this morning's Consumer Price Index (CPI) release should have taken place weeks earlier.

He suggests that market participants may have acted too late in positioning ahead of the U.S. inflation data.

McCullough previously highlighted gold's recovery of its short-term trade momentum level, describing it as the day's most significant move. In another recent update, he reported that 467 SPY companies achieved 50 percent year-on-year EPS growth, with Nvidia yet to report. These observations reflect McCullough’s ongoing focus on major market developments.
