Strategy adds 950 BTC and boosts STRC buyback, Michael Saylor confirms — Strategy adds 950 BTC, increases STRC buyback

Michael Saylor announced that Strategy has acquired 950 BTC and repurchased $174 million of STRC.

As of September 20, 2026, the company holds 846,000 BTC and $6.09 billion in USD assets.

Strategy previously acquired 4,603 BTC for $370 million and repurchased $152 million in STRC, bringing total assets to $6.71 billion as of August 2026, according to company disclosures. Michael Saylor has characterized Bitcoin as an open global reserve asset, citing its monetary properties as key to its investment case in a recent interview discussing the cryptocurrency’s role. These transactions follow Strategy’s ongoing accumulation of digital and USD assets.
