Mining-focused fund planned for investors

Otavio (Tavi) Costa, founder and CEO of Azuria Capital, announced plans to launch a mining-focused fund targeting accredited investors.

Costa described miners as one of the most compelling investment themes of the next decade. He emphasized that the information is for accredited investors only and does not constitute investment advice.

Costa has previously identified silver's price lag as one of the most notable market divergences, citing copper's continued outperformance. In another analysis, he highlighted that Latin America could experience a shift in market leadership driven by politics, resource exposure, and valuations. Costa, who left Crescat Capital earlier in 2026 after 12 years with the firm, now serves as founder and CEO of Azuria Capital and continues to focus on macroeconomic, mining and natural-resource investment themes.
