UBS adds digital asset roles in New York

Frank Chaparro reports that UBS is stepping up its efforts to commercialize tokenized products.

The bank has recently listed two digital asset positions in New York, including a Product Manager role with a base salary range of $225K to $242.5K. The positions are intended to help build and scale tokenized products, stablecoins, settlement rails, and other distributed ledger technology-based solutions.

Chaparro previously noted that stablecoins could see a tenfold increase in growth as onchain volumes expand, citing insights from the Digital Chamber’s Convergence Forum in an earlier article. In another report, he observed that during the latest Bitcoin bear market, prices remained above the realized price and holders stayed in profit, according to market data. These developments provide context as UBS accelerates its digital asset efforts.
