U.S. attracts most foreign direct investment, Scott Bessent notes
U.S. top destination for investment

Scott Bessent, 79th U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and founder of Key Square Group, states that capital follows confidence. He points out that since U.S. President Donald Trump took office, the U.S. has become the leading destination for foreign direct investment.

Bessent credits the Administration's policies of lower taxes, fairer trade, and lighter regulation for keeping America as a premier location for global capital.

Earlier, Bessent reported that the U.S. Treasury and IRS issued guidance targeting tax-driven investment strategies. He also highlighted the creation of over one million private-sector jobs since January 2025. Both developments reflect ongoing policy actions influencing U.S. economic momentum.
