Dow Jones outpaces long-term Treasuries on way to highs, Caleb Franzen notes
Dow Jones nearing record highs

Caleb Franzen points to the Dow Jones index as being on track to achieve new all-time highs. He highlights that the Dow Jones, when compared to long-term Treasuries (DIA/TLT), has already reached record levels.

Franzen notes that this relative strength often precedes actual record highs for the index itself, suggesting a positive outlook for the market.

Franzen previously observed that a $3.86 million investment in the S&P 500 could have grown to $30 million, notably outperforming real estate by more than four times (see article). He has also remarked that inflation peaked in 2022, noting that the latest crude oil spike did not trigger broad price increases in CPI ex-energy (see article). These past insights provide context for his current outlook on equity markets.
