U.S. inflation beats expectations, bond yields spike

U.S. consumer price inflation came in above forecasts, with the Consumer Price Index hitting 3.7 percent compared to the expected 3.6 percent and up from 3.4 percent in the previous month.

Ran Neuner, founder of Crypto Banter, noted that bond yields are spiking, the Federal Reserve faces more pressure to raise rates, and Bitcoin is facing another significant test. Neuner also highlighted that Ray Dalio warns of a much bigger problem developing.

Neuner has previously noted that certain altcoins are showing strength and familiar rally patterns, even as most attention is on Bitcoin and recent corrections, according to a recent article. In another report, he highlighted that many investors are holding too many altcoins and suggested that only six are needed for the current cycle in the bull market. His latest comments come as macro conditions put added pressure on crypto markets.
