OCC report examines crypto debanking

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has released a report examining debanking practices by some major banks, including the impact on the crypto industry.

Henri Arslanian, former PwC Crypto Leader and co-founder of Nine Blocks Capital, highlighted that these practices, described as Operation Choke Point 2.0, affected not only companies but also individuals connected to digital assets.

Arslanian previously hosted a private dinner in Singapore to discuss the future of Bitcoin and crypto asset management with industry peers, according to a prior report. In a separate instance, Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris advised the crypto community to remain focused and patient during the bear market, as reported in an earlier article. Both events reflect ongoing conversations among industry leaders and high-profile figures.
