SEC official discusses innovative ETF update

Brian Daly, Director of the Division of Investment Management at the SEC, joined Nate Geraci to provide a brief update regarding exchange-traded funds seeking to invest in innovative asset classes or engage in novel investment strategies.

Nate Geraci posted that back in June, the SEC requested public comment on ETFs involving innovative asset classes or novel investment approaches.

Earlier this year, Nate Geraci discussed the launch of ANDRA, a tokenization platform for ETFs built on Canton Network. He has also observed notable shifts in traditional finance, stating that recent headlines indicate increased acceptance of crypto assets. These developments have contributed to ongoing discussions about the future of exchange-traded funds.
