The collapse of Texitcoin resulted in a loss of over $100 million in investor capital.

Peter Spina, CEO of GoldSeek.com, noted that a similar coin named Iskander has since been launched, which he described as essentially a copy-and-paste version of Texitcoin's code. According to Spina, Iskander was mined in Dubai and promoted by the Tate Brothers for only $5,000.

Spina has previously commented on the mining sector, stating that silver is a strong buy at current price levels. He has also detailed Black Mammoth Metals' start of trading on the U.S. Nasdaq and its recent C$24 million funding round, with a focus on Western U.S. assets, according to a recent report. These remarks show Spina's ongoing engagement with commodity and asset launches.
