OpenAI valuation puts IPO pressure on Anthropic

OpenAI is reportedly raising funds at a $1.4 trillion valuation, based on information from Bloomberg.

Freda Duan says this development puts pressure on Anthropic to pursue an IPO at a valuation of at least $1.5 trillion to $1.6 trillion. Duan also notes that Bloomberg reports OpenAI has guided to more than $70 billion in year-end annual recurring revenue, with recent run rates near $50 billion.

Duan has previously commented on rapid product innovation in the tech sector. In an earlier analysis, she highlighted that rapid in-app game creation could drive higher token usage in the crypto ecosystem. Her remarks continue to focus on the intersection of new technology and market growth.
