Gold promotion called misleading for representing only a small part of Ray's wealth, Andy Constan argues
Gold advocacy questioned by Andy Constan

Andy Constan, founder and strategist at Damped Spring Macro, questioned the integrity of recent gold advocacy, expressing doubt that a small portion of Ray's wealth discussed online accurately reflects Ray's overall gold allocation.

Constan said he holds a 10% allocation to gold himself, but described the referenced gold promotion as potentially deceptive or misinformed in order to convince others to support gold.

Constan has recently weighed in on equity market events, calling a recent deal for ONDS shares "hugely unfavorable for shareholders" after the stock dropped 55 percent to a new year-to-date low, as reported in ONDS stock hits YTD low. He has also noted that a net long range between 48% and 56% for long/short equity funds is not especially significant, citing a 1.2% return gap in equity funds net long returns. Constan’s market commentary frequently addresses perceived misalignments between messaging and underlying positions.
