Samson Mow: Peg operations resume for Liquid BTC after security audit
Liquid BTC peg operations restart

Peg operations for Liquid BTC have resumed after the completion of an external security audit and the implementation of additional hardening measures.

Samson Mow stated that Liquid users can now peg out via SideSwap and AquaBitcoin. Mow added that the approximately 600 BTC shortfall will be added to the Federation wallet.

Efforts to restore the Liquid BTC peg have included an external audit and internal coordination, according to previous statements by Samson Mow. Mow also recently addressed concerns about emerging technologies, saying that AI and quantum computing do not pose a current threat to Bitcoin's security. These updates come as the network resumes piggyback operations after a reported shortfall.
