Test transaction cuts Federation wallet shortfall to 600 BTC, Samson Mow notes
Test transaction lowers wallet shortfall

A test transaction involving 2.5 BTC has been sent to the Liquid Federation wallet, reducing the current shortfall to 600 BTC.

Samson Mow reported that the remaining 600 BTC will be moved to the wallet in the coming days, and stated that all network operations are continuing normally.

Efforts to restore the Liquid BTC peg have included an external audit and coordination with Blockstream, according to previous statements from Samson Mow. He has also addressed concerns over Bitcoin security, noting there is no current threat from AI or quantum computing in a separate update. These developments provide context as the Liquid Federation approaches completion of the current BTC transfer process.
