Advised shift from high-beta to low-beta

Lia Holmgren stated that she recommended reducing exposure to high-beta names, increasing holdings of low-beta names, diversifying, and raising cash several weeks ago. She added that her TMAD scanner detected extremely unusual put gamma activity and said she warned people while preparing for these developments over the past weeks.

Holmgren recently highlighted that ORCL shares are down over 50 percent in one year, with a reported $10 billion stock sale at an 11 percent discount. She also signaled concerns about a possible large share sale in AMZN despite previous strong confidence in the holding. These earlier observations come as she now points to caution and increased defensive positioning.
