Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California, has outlined a plan aimed at restoring power to the American people and reinforcing confidence in the United States democratic processes. \n In a recent tweet, Schwarzenegger highlighted the public's support for specific electoral reforms: making Election Day a holiday, reducing gerrymandering, and requiring voters to present ID at the polls. He cited notable statistics, with 74 percent of Americans favoring Election Day as a national holiday, 75 percent recognizing gerrymandering as a significant issue, and 83 percent supporting voter ID requirements. \n Schwarzenegger's call to action, directed at Congress, urges lawmakers to prioritize these reforms to align with the expressed desires of the electorate. ''Get to work, Congress. Give the people what they want and need,'' Schwarzenegger stated emphatically in his online address.
