Rocket Lab shares are trading at $64.95, under all major moving averages: MA-20 ($72.39), MA-50 ($96.76), and MA-200 ($77.78), signaling persistent pressure from sellers in short-, medium-, and long-term timeframes. The Ichimoku Kijun is at $82.90, positioning it as immediate resistance above the current price; near-term support is found at the MA-5 cluster ($63.81–$64.37), with key support at the MA-100 ($86.01), while resistance is marked at the MA-20 ($72.39) and further reinforced by the Ichimoku Kijun.
Momentum indicators on D1 paint a mostly bearish picture: MACD shows strong sell with a value of -10.52, while ADX at 25.99 confirms a prevailing downtrend. RSI is at 37.73 and CCI at -65.13, both in a sell mode, indicating the asset is leaning oversold, and Stoch RSI is at 100, signaling a recent overbought episode. BBP reads -0.82, highlighting dominant seller pressure intraday. The Awesome Oscillator is neutral and does not align with the broader trend. Over the past week, RKLB has risen $1.04 (1.63%) from a previous close of $63.91 to $64.95, with price now in the upper part of the weekly range. Weekly volatility stands at 17.42%, and the bounce near the highs suggests a recovery tone after rebounding sharply from the week's low.
For the coming week, the expected trading range is adjusted to $62.00–$69.00, anchoring the forecast comfortably above the 52-week low of $37.61 and well below the 52-week high of $151.00. Weekly directional signals remain bearish, with RSI-W1 (42.89), ADX-W1 (27.42), and MA-50-W1 ($73.51) all indicating sell, while MACD-W1 is neutral. This produces a very low probability (less than 20%) of a sustained price increase, making further downside more likely. The baseline scenario sees price consolidating between support at $63.81 and resistance at $69.00. A bullish surprise would require a break above the near-term resistance and closing above the $72.39 level. A bearish move could test $62.00 and put additional pressure on the recent recovery momentum.
Earlier, analysts noted that Rocket Lab was experiencing sustained downward momentum and a prevailing bearish sentiment. This article signals a shift in the outlook, highlighting a potential inflection point and urging investors to closely watch for a breakout above key resistance as the next directional cue.
