Tesla stock forecast: Can $400 support drive a move toward $411?
Tesla is trying to recover as improving European sales support sentiment after the latest tech-sector sell-off. The next test is whether buyers can hold $400 and push the stock toward $411.
Reuters reported a notable recovery in Tesla sales across Northern Europe. In October, new vehicle registrations jumped 248% in Sweden, 131% in Norway and 34% in Denmark. The improvement was supported by a weak comparison base from last year, higher fuel prices and government incentives for electric-vehicle buyers.
Attention in the U.S. market, however, is shifting toward the November 3 congressional elections. Investors are assessing the potential implications for AI regulation and broader economic policy. After the recent technology sell-off, political uncertainty could add another layer of volatility to Tesla even as European sales data improve.

Rebound from $387.52 puts $411 resistance in focus
The scenario outlined previously played out in full. Tesla stock reached the $390 target, tested $387.52 and then rebounded quickly, closing the session at $399.81.
The base case for today is a continuation of the recovery toward resistance at $411. If buyers can break above that level and establish a sustained hold, the move could extend toward the next target near $419.
For the positive technical setup to remain intact, however, the stock needs to stay above $400. A drop and sustained move below that level would invalidate the recovery scenario and significantly raise the risk of another test of $390 support.
Market sentiment could outweigh improving vehicle demand
The recovery in European sales is a positive sign for Tesla’s automotive business, but short-term price action is becoming increasingly dependent on sentiment across the technology sector. After October’s sell-off, investors remain particularly sensitive to news around AI and growth-stock valuations.
The market’s reaction to the midterm election results will add another test. Until there is greater clarity, Tesla could continue to see sharp intraday swings, making overnight positions more risky for short-term traders.
