StarTrader has launched the STAR Trading League, a global trading competition designed in the style of the NBA, where participants select from 30 teams and compete in multiple elimination rounds. The tournament runs from June 1 to July 31, 2026, beginning with a regular season stage ('Toss'), followed by playoffs ('Knockout'), and concluding with semifinals and finals ('Buzzer-Beater').

Participants compete for NBA-themed rewards, with the top two traders on the champion team eligible for prizes such as NBA game tickets, a custom STARTRADER basketball, NBA Store vouchers, and a $10,000 cash prize. The event is described as focusing on strategy, timing, and precision, and leverages STARTRADER’s NBA partnership for enhanced user engagement.

How to participate

To join the STAR Trading League promotion from StarTrader, register on the STARTRADER client portal or mobile app within the registration period, then select one of 30 teams to compete in the tournament. Trading performance across the tournament stages determines progression and prize eligibility. The tournament runs from June 1 to July 31, with NBA-themed rewards for top traders on the champion team. To begin, users can register via the official sign-up link.
