Pionex has announced that holders of its tokenized US stocks may receive platform-based adjustments, referred to as 'Position Rewards,' which credit eligible users when underlying companies issue profit distributions. This mechanism, effective from September 3, 2026, does not represent traditional dividends or confer shareholder rights.
Pionex has outlined its updated 'Position Rewards' mechanism for holders of tokenized US stocks (xStocks), set to take effect on September 3, 2026. While these tokenized assets do not grant traditional shareholder dividends or voting rights, the platform may issue Position Rewards as USDT credits or through futures funding adjustments to eligible users when the underlying companies announce profit distributions. Eligibility and payout conditions are detailed in Pionex’s announcement: spot token holders must own the asset at market close on adjustment dates, while futures position holders must have active exposure at the relevant adjustment execution time. Position Rewards are calculated and distributed according to platform rules and are accessible in users’ account records, but are not equivalent to direct shareholder dividends or ownership rights.
