Bitkub begins USDT0 operations on Optimism, supporting Tether token changes from October 15
Bitkub has announced the activation of USDT0 deposit and withdrawal systems on the Optimism network starting October 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM (GMT+7), coinciding with changes to Tether’s token addresses and the planned termination of legacy USDT services on the same network later that day.

Bitkub announced the activation of deposit and withdrawal services for the new USDT0 token on the Optimism network starting October 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM (GMT+7). This update is in response to Tether's changes to digital asset and token addresses on the Optimism network. According to Bitkub's published information, services for the original USDT token on Optimism will be terminated later that same day, at 11:00 PM (GMT+7), as part of the transition to the USDT0 standard.
