Bitfinex review: New incentives and trading competitions boost user engagement
Bitfinex has announced the expansion of its Affiliate Programme, enabling participants to earn up to 38% in fees through a multi-level reward structure.
Unlike traditional referral systems, the Bitfinex model offers income from both trading and margin funding fees generated by referred users — extending across three referral levels. Affiliates can generate and share unique invite links directly from their Affiliate Dashboard, tracking performance and earnings in real time.
The system rewards users not only for their direct referrals but also for the trading activity of those referred by their contacts, allowing for exponential earning potential as networks grow.
This structure is designed to incentivize long-term participation while promoting organic community expansion. Users can also benefit from multipliers and periodic incentives, increasing total affiliate rewards.
Trading competitions: Skill meets opportunity
Alongside the affiliate program, Bitfinex continues to engage traders through regular trading competitions, offering cryptocurrency-based rewards. Participants compete in specific challenges — often centered on trading pairs or assets — where winners are determined by highest trading volume or profitability over a set timeframe.
The process to join is simple:
1. Register a Bitfinex account.
2. Complete the verification process.
3. Visit the Competitions Page.
4. Select an active event.
5. Sign up and start trading according to the competition rules.
Leaderboards allow participants to track rankings in real time, enhancing transparency and competition.
