Service for international money transfers Remitly has announced the opening of a new office in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
The broker intends to increase its presence in the Middle East. The new UAE location is Remitly's thirty-third location where services are available.
The Dubai office will enable millions of immigrants living and working in the country to conduct transactions in many parts of the world freely, quickly, and most importantly, safely.
Remitly currently has representative offices in India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Bangladesh, which, along with an office in Dubai, contributes to the region's strong ties.
Remitly is a money transfer service that was launched in 2010. It was initially created to facilitate transfers between European and African countries. However, after two years, the service has expanded and is now available in many countries around the world. The Remitly fee is determined by the amount of the transaction as well as the sender and recipient's countries.
