The U.S. Small Business Administration is expanding the reach of its Million Dollar Pitch Competition by making the broadcast special available globally on Prime Video and YouTube. • Five finalists—Compotech, Plas-Tech Tooling, Red River, VetPowered, and Winton Machine Company—presented manufacturing-focused growth plans before a panel including Nicki Minaj and Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia.
  • Clover provided the $1 million cash prize pool as the competition showcased U.S. small manufacturers' ability to scale domestic production and strengthen industrial supply chains.

Streaming rollout and competition format

As reported by U.S. Small Business Administration, the special broadcast event is now streaming worldwide on Prime Video and YouTube following its taping in Washington, D.C. last month. The show is the final round of the summer-long Patriot Pitch Competition and serves as the SBA's signature Freedom 250 event.

During the program, five finalists present plans to expand operations, create jobs, and reinforce domestic manufacturing capabilities. The judging panel includes Nicki Minaj, Grant Cardone, and Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia, while actor Dean Cain hosts the finale.

SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler says the competition highlights the role of small businesses in U.S. economic growth and entrepreneurship. The episode also includes the finalists' visit to the White House to meet President Trump as part of the event's America 250 theme.

Manufacturing and regional business impact

The finalists represent a cross-section of industrial and manufacturing-focused companies from Maine, Iowa, Wyoming, California, and Georgia. They include Compotech, Plas-Tech Tooling, Red River, VetPowered, and Winton Machine Company, each presenting strategies for scaling production and adding domestic jobs.

The featured businesses operate in areas including advanced composites, CNC machining, fabricated tooling, pressure vessels, energy systems, and industrial machinery. Their proposals emphasize strengthening critical U.S. supply chains and supporting defense, aerospace, commercial, and industrial end markets.

With Clover funding the $1 million cash prize pool, the competition is positioned as both a promotional platform for small business and a showcase for U.S. manufacturing capacity. By distributing the special through major streaming platforms, the SBA is giving national and international visibility to companies it portrays as contributors to American industrial competitiveness.

In our earlier article on the WTO’s outlook, we discussed how wars and tariff-related uncertainty are reshaping global trade by pushing companies to redesign shipping routes and build more resilient, diversified supply chains. We also noted the expectation that regional trade could keep expanding as firms prioritize reliability over the lowest-cost routes, even as the broader trade-growth outlook remains sensitive to ongoing disruptions.
