Cormorant Energy Storage Project positions Primoris Services as leading urban battery contractor
Primoris wins battery project deal

Primoris Services has been selected as the EPC contractor for Arevon’s Cormorant Energy Storage Project, which is set to become the largest urban battery installation in the U.S.

The project aims to improve grid reliability, enhance resilience, and support future growth in renewable energy across urban markets. The new installation reflects a push for large-scale battery solutions to support clean power integration and grid stability as cities accelerate their transition to renewables.

Primoris Services has recently advanced BESS augmentation projects to improve battery storage performance and extend asset life for facility owners. The company has also expanded its leadership team, appointing Cyndi Hallman as HSE director to strengthen safety culture and field operations. These moves demonstrate Primoris’s ongoing focus on energy infrastructure and operational standards.
