Portillo's has opened its first-ever airport restaurant at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, located in Terminal B.

The brand, known for its Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef, is expanding its footprint by targeting the large-volume travel market. The move is part of Portillo's broader strategy to reach new customer segments and diversify its restaurant locations beyond traditional street and mall sites. Details of the opening menu and operational hours have yet to be disclosed.

The company recently released a limited edition Hot and Saucy Italian Beef sandwich featuring double giardiniera for Italian Beef Month. In a separate move, Portillo's broadened its merchandise line with Italian Beef body pillows. The initiatives reflect Portillo’s ongoing efforts to expand its brand presence beyond its core menu.
