Cambium Networks releases LINKPlanner V6.4.2 with ITU-R P.530-19 model and expanded features
Cambium Networks unveils LINKPlanner update

Cambium Networks has launched LINKPlanner V6.4.2, adding support for the ITU-R P.530-19 prediction model and offering improved project controls.

The release also features expanded product support and updated regulatory data, aimed at enhancing network planning for wireless broadband deployments. These updates reflect Cambium Networks ongoing commitment to supporting professionals in wireless networking and broadband planning.

Cambium Networks has previously promoted Wi-Fi offload as a way for MSPs and WISPs to generate new revenue and help carriers address mobile network congestion, according to a recent analysis. The company has also reported that 81 percent of ePMP radios are operating on outdated firmware, raising concerns over missed upgrades and potential impacts on network efficiency, as detailed in a separate report. These developments form part of Cambium Networks’ ongoing efforts to address challenges in wireless and broadband performance.
