Capitec Bank cuts scheduling costs

Capitec Bank has reduced workforce scheduling time from 4 hours to just 15 minutes per week by adopting Verint Systems technology.

The shift has also cut short-term planning by 78 percent and delivered monthly savings of 55,000 dollars in overtime administration. This operational efficiency reflects a growing focus among financial institutions on leveraging process automation and workforce optimization tools to control costs and boost agility. Verint Systems presented these results as part of a published case study detailing the transformation of Capitec Bank’s workforce management.

Verint Systems has also supported other organizations in technology-driven transformations. Southern Company used Verint to modernize its contact centers by integrating advanced solutions with legacy infrastructure, according to a company update. In another deployment, Concentrix leveraged Verint and Avaya to implement agentic AI for scaling personalized customer experiences and improving returns, as outlined in a separate announcement.
