ChargePoint boosts apartment charging

ChargePoint Holdings, Inc. is moving to enhance electric vehicle charging accessibility in residential communities by partnering with Smart Charge America and Skybeck Construction.

This initiative aims to position in-home charging as a top amenity for apartment residents, addressing rapidly growing consumer demand. The company expressed appreciation to project contributors, underlining the strategic importance of offering convenient charging where people live.

Earlier this year, ChargePoint introduced its Express Solo technology and began working with Eaton to streamline real-world EV charging infrastructure in a dedicated partnership. The company also increased charging station availability at Gillette Stadium, expanding access at large venues with new installations for drivers. These initiatives are part of ChargePoint’s ongoing strategy to broaden EV charging options across sectors.
