Phase 2 data shows 20 percent clinical remission for UC, Spyre Therapeutics claims
Spyre 10 point RHI cut in UC

Spyre Therapeutics released positive results from its Phase 2 SKYLINE Part A trial evaluating SPY003 for ulcerative colitis (UC). The data indicated a 10.0 point reduction in the Robarts Histopathology Index (RHI) with a p-value less than 0.0001.

The company reported 20 percent clinical remission and 30 percent endoscopic improvement in patients, establishing clinical proof-of-concept across all three mechanisms in its inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) portfolio.

Earlier this year, Spyre Therapeutics launched SPY772 and began the Phase 2 SKYLIGHT clinical trial for hidradenitis suppurativa. The company’s stock rose 1.4% to $104.91 following the initiation of the SPY772 program. Both trials are part of Spyre’s expanding clinical development efforts.
