Daktronics powers Tennessee DOT upgrade with 62 new dynamic message signs
Daktronics deploys 62 signs in Tennessee

Daktronics has completed an upgrade project for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, installing 62 new Dynamic Message Signs to provide drivers with timely updates on crashes, closures, and weather conditions.

The deployment is aimed at helping motorists make informed decisions before reaching impacted areas, enhancing traffic management and road safety across the state.

Daktronics has expanded its technology deployments in recent months. The company recently launched LiveWrx to enable high school sports fans to engage at events using QR code scanning and mobile access, according to a previous report. Daktronics also introduced immersive night game visuals featuring bold color and motion for Miami field events, as detailed in an earlier article.
