Lombard App goes live as Ledger streamlines LBTC user experience
Ledger launches Lombard App

Ledger has announced the launch of the Lombard App via Ledger Wallet, enabling users to access LBTC directly through the new application. Existing positions that were previously managed through the Figment App will automatically carry over with no action required from users.

Eight months ago, Ledger began its BTC Yield partnership with Lombard Finance, and this move marks a further integration of decentralized finance services into Ledger's ecosystem. The update is intended to provide a more seamless experience for users engaged in Bitcoin yield activities.

Ledger recently added real-time threat detection to its Wallet, scanning Ethereum transactions for enhanced user security, as detailed in its Ethereum security upgrade announcement. The company also spearheaded an industry initiative for coordinated vulnerability disclosure alongside Trezor and others, aiming to improve security standards in the crypto ecosystem, according to a previous Ledger statement. These efforts reflect Ledger’s continued focus on bolstering wallet and platform safety as it expands user offerings.
