8X8 appoints Jamie Snaddon as chief strategy officer and Nerea Gandarias as EMEA managing director
8X8 names new strategy, EMEA chiefs

8X8 has named Jamie Snaddon as senior vice president and chief strategy officer and promoted Nerea Gandarias to managing director for EMEA, both effective immediately.

Snaddon will lead strategy in a newly created role and reports directly to CEO Samuel Wilson, while Gandarias takes over leadership for the EMEA region, succeeding Snaddon. The company did not disclose further details regarding the scope of their responsibilities or forthcoming initiatives.

Earlier this year, 8X8 expanded its AI Studio offering to include web app, dashboard, and portal building, with built-in end-user authentication for secure access, according to a company announcement. The firm also reported that Motus Commercials reduced call abandonment by 74 percent after implementing the 8X8 unified phone platform, which sped up response times for its customers. These developments follow a series of operational updates at 8X8.
