8X8 has reported a significant improvement in operational efficiency after moving 34 UK truck dealer sites to a single communications platform. According to MotusDAF, a partner in the migration, the rate of abandoned calls improved from 1 in 5 to 1 in 20 following the transition.

This update was shared at DTXLondon2026, highlighting the impact of 8X8's solution on customer interactions and operational effectiveness within the truck dealership sector.

Earlier, Motus Commercials reported a 74 percent drop in call abandonment rates after adopting 8X8’s unified phone platform, leading to faster response times as detailed in a previous company update. In a separate move, 8X8 recently named Jamie Snaddon as chief strategy officer and Nerea Gandarias as EMEA managing director, both effective immediately, according to a recent announcement. These developments reflect ongoing efforts to improve communications and leadership in the region.
