CES deal sees Vuzix ship first batch of LX1 smart glasses — Vuzix ships LX1 smart glasses

Vuzix has signed a distribution agreement with Commercial Electronics Systems (CES) and has begun shipping units to fulfill an initial six figure order for its LX1 smart glasses.

The partnership is aimed at expanding Vuzix enterprise sales channel and bringing hands free smart glasses technology to a wider range of business clients.

Earlier this year, Vuzix announced plans to unveil its Causeway AI optical interconnect evaluation platform at the OCP Global Summit and PECC Summit. The company also demonstrated its Causeway waveguide optical interconnect with 19,200 data channels at OCPSummit26 in San Jose. These efforts highlight Vuzix's continued development of its optical and smart glasses technologies.
