MELANIA token jumps 18% ahead of Melania Trump documentary
The Official MELANIA token, associated with U.S. First Lady Melania Trump, surged more than 18% over the past week ahead of the global release of a documentary highlighting her role in Donald Trump’s victory in the most recent election.
A private screening of the documentary directed by Brett Ratner took place at the White House on January 24 and was attended by high-profile guests, including Queen Rania of Jordan, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, and legendary boxer Mike Tyson. Amazon has acquired the rights to the film and is preparing for its worldwide release on January 30.
News surrounding the documentary renewed public interest in the U.S. First Lady and contributed to an 18% rise in the price of the Official MELANIA token over the past week. At the time of writing, the token was trading at around $0.17. However, this remains nearly 99% below its all-time high of $13.73, reached in January 2025.
How long will the rally last?
With a market capitalization of $166 million, MELANIA currently ranks 174th among cryptocurrencies by market value. Analysts suggest further upside ahead of the film’s premiere. However, it is important to note that the token has no intrinsic utility, and interest remains purely speculative.

The popularity of Official MELANIA also continues to depend heavily on Trump-related narratives. In addition, increased regulatory scrutiny and ongoing lawsuits against token developer Hayden Davis could trigger sudden sell-offs.
Against this backdrop, the Official TRUMP token has remained relatively stable, fluctuating by just 2.5% around the $4.80 level over the past month. At the same time, its current price remains well below the all-time high of $75.35 reached ahead of the inauguration.
