But we saved everything 🙂.

The sale took place on September 1. The assets had a book value of ¥761 million ($3.87 million), and Remixpoint plans to recognize the profit in its second-quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.

The company said the decision reflected market conditions, the risk-return profile of individual crypto assets and its broader financial strategy. Going forward, its cryptocurrency reserve policy will focus exclusively on Bitcoin.
Ethereum was the most profitable position, generating a ¥60.2 million ($305,900) gain for Remixpoint. Solana produced another ¥49.3 million ($250,500) in profit, while XRP added ¥11.5 million ($58,500).
Dogecoin was the only asset sold at a loss. Remixpoint recorded a loss of approximately ¥3.26 million ($16,500) on the position.
Before the sale, Ethereum and Solana were also used for staking. Combined rewards from the two assets reached ¥29.9 million ($151,800).
Bitcoin also generates additional income for the company. From February 24 through August 31, Remixpoint earned 14.92 BTC by lending the asset. At the time of valuation, those earnings were worth approximately ¥164.2 million ($834,300).
Following the altcoin sale, Remixpoint plans to focus its cryptocurrency strategy exclusively on Bitcoin. The company said the approach should make its reserve management policy clearer and improve capital efficiency.
Sources provide slightly different figures for the size of the company's Bitcoin reserve because they reflect different reporting dates. Bitcoin Treasuries lists Remixpoint as holding approximately 1,501 BTC worth $116.1 million, ranking it 38th among public companies by Bitcoin holdings. A company disclosure put the figure at approximately 1,506 BTC.
Remixpoint's shift comes as corporate Bitcoin strategies continue to expand. In late August, Strategy purchased 4,603 BTC for approximately $369.7 million after a nearly two-month pause, while other public companies have continued raising capital to accumulate the cryptocurrency.
Japan's Metaplanet, meanwhile, is expanding its Bitcoin strategy into the U.S. market. The company acquired a controlling stake in Nasdaq-listed Super League Entertainment as part of a deal worth approximately $134.6 million, creating a publicly traded U.S. platform for its Bitcoin operations.
