Robinhood Chain weekly DEX volume reaches all-time high of $10.47B
Robinhood Chain has set a new record for decentralized exchange activity. Weekly DEX volume surged 105% to $10.47 billion.
Robinhood Chain liquidity surges as DEX activity accelerates
According to SpendNode, weekly trading volume across decentralized exchanges on Robinhood Chain reached a record $10.47 billion, up roughly 105% over the week. The sharp increase shows how quickly Robinhood’s blockchain infrastructure is attracting liquidity and trading activity just a few months after launch.
The acceleration has been building steadily. On September 1, daily DEX volume stood at around $1.60 billion, up 61% from August 28, while assets locked across DeFi protocols reached roughly $738 million.
Arbitrum integration strengthens network economics
Robinhood Chain is built as an Ethereum Layer 2 using Arbitrum technology, meaning rising activity could benefit more than Robinhood alone. The agreement provides for 10% of Robinhood Chain’s net protocol revenue to be directed to Arbitrum, creating a new source of fee-based revenue for the ecosystem.
Robinhood Chain’s growth has coincided with a strong move in ARB, which has gained more than 142% since August 31. Rising DEX volumes make the integration increasingly important, as higher on-chain activity could generate more fees and deepen the economic link between Robinhood and Arbitrum.
Robinhood expands beyond the traditional brokerage model
The record DEX activity also fits into Robinhood’s broader strategy of bringing traditional financial instruments on-chain. The company is already developing tokenized stock trading, DeFi products and its own blockchain infrastructure, gradually positioning Robinhood Chain as a bridge between traditional and crypto markets.
Robinhood’s CEO recently reinforced that strategy. Vlad Tenev called for global access to high-quality financial assets regardless of where investors are located. If the current pace of on-chain growth continues, Robinhood Chain could become one of the key pieces of infrastructure supporting that model.
