Solana price forecast: Record activity fails to lift SOL above $107.50
Solana continues to show exceptionally strong on-chain activity, yet SOL has so far failed to translate those fundamental records into a decisive rally. Regulatory and macroeconomic pressures could determine which of these forces ultimately proves stronger.
Activity on Solana has reached a new record. More than 1.49 million tokens were created on the blockchain over the past seven days, the highest weekly total in the network’s history.
Continued momentum far beyond new token launches. Solana has topped all L1 and L2 networks by weekly DEX volume for 20 weeks in a row, and across both centralised and decentralised venues, has been ranked second to Binance by this measure for 12 straight weeks.
The regulatory backdrop, however, has deteriorated considerably. The probability of the CLARITY Act passing in 2026 has fallen to 16% on Polymarket after key Democrats declined to support the latest Republican proposal.

$97.50–107.50 range still controls the SOL setup
SOL continues to consolidate within the previously highlighted $97.50–107.50 range. A sustained move beyond either boundary for at least one full trading day would provide the main signal for the next short-term direction.
Given the persistent geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainty, the bearish scenario remains the base case. A decisive break below $97.50 could accelerate the correction toward the $93.50–92 area, where the next liquidity zone is located.
The bearish setup would be invalidated only by a sustained move above $107.50. In that case, the current downside scenario would lose relevance, while the next target for buyers would be resistance around $117.
Strong on-chain activity still needs price confirmation
The record number of newly created tokens confirms that activity across the Solana ecosystem remains elevated despite weak price momentum in SOL itself. This supports the network’s longer-term fundamental case, but has yet to provide enough momentum for a breakout from consolidation.
In the short term, price action remains the priority. Losing $97.50 would increase the risk of a decline toward $93.50–92, while a sustained move above $107.50 would provide the first meaningful confirmation that Solana’s strong on-chain metrics are beginning to translate into SOL price strength.
