As reported by House Budget Committee, citing the House Committee on the Budget, Chairman Jodey Arrington testifies before the House Rules Committee in Washington, D.C. to advocate for the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2027, a step he says will unlock reconciliation.

Arrington says the measure is designed to provide emergency funding for military readiness, strengthen the U.S. food supply and support election integrity measures. In his remarks, he presents the resolution as a procedural route to move priorities that he says have been delayed by repeated obstruction in Congress.
