Cebu Landmasters reports strong Ormoc project take-up in Leyte launch
Ormoc project sells fast

Residential demand in Eastern Visayas is showing early strength, with Cebu Landmasters, Inc. booking nearly 70% take-up for its Casa Mira Prime Ormoc project within two weeks of its Sept. 25 launch. The company says the development adds to a broader second-half pipeline of 11 projects with more than 5,600 residential units and an estimated sales value of P25 billion.

Highlights

  • Cebu Landmasters launched Casa Mira Prime Ormoc in Leyte with units priced between P2.7 million and P3.5 million, reporting strong early buyer interest.
  • The company's second-half pipeline features 11 projects totaling over 5,600 residential units and an estimated sales value of P25 billion.
  • Cebu Landmasters expands in Bohol and Cebu, with a 5.6-hectare Tagbilaran project and August turnover of Alto Ranudo in Cebu City, signaling regional growth.

Ormoc launch gains early buyer interest

As disclosed by BusinessWorld, citing Cebu Landmasters, Inc. to the stock exchange on Tuesday, the Casa Mira Prime Ormoc project in Leyte includes townhouses, single-detached houses and duplex units priced from P2.7 million to P3.5 million.

The development is located in Barangay Macabug, Ormoc City, and offers units with floor areas ranging from 47 square meters to 50.04 square meters. CLI does not disclose the number of units sold, the sales value tied to the reported take-up rate, or whether the figure covers the full project inventory or only units released for sale.

CLI Chief Executive Officer Jose Franco B. Soberano says the company plans to continue developing residential projects in Ormoc. The company also says its Casa Mira residential brand now covers nearly 20,000 units across the Visayas and Mindanao.

Pipeline expansion supports regional housing push

The Ormoc development forms part of CLI's second-half pipeline, which comprises 11 projects with more than 5,600 residential units and an estimated sales value of P25 billion. The company does not specify how much of that projected sales value has already been realized.

Separately, CLI plans to develop a 5.6-hectare residential property in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The proposed site will include projects under its Velmiro mid-market housing brand and Mirani mid-rise condominium brand, while the company also expects to turn over units at Velmiro Greens Bohol in Dauis by year-end.

CLI's second-half pipeline also includes Alto Ranudo in Cebu City, which the company says was turned over in August. The expansion points to continued residential investment across key Visayas markets as the developer broadens its presence beyond major urban centers.

Our earlier article on Icon’s $200 million Series D funding round detailed how the company is scaling its Titan 3D-printed homebuilding system to cut build times and lower construction costs. We noted that the expansion is positioned as a response to housing shortages and cost pressures, with Icon also moving from using its printers in-house to supplying the technology to other builders.
