James Pethokoukis: U.S. nonfarm productivity rises 2.8 percent quarterly and yearly
U.S. nonfarm productivity up 2.8 percent

U.S. nonfarm business productivity increased by 2.8% quarter-on-quarter and 2.8% year-on-year, according to data cited by Morgan Stanley.

James Pethokoukis highlighted that this is the strongest productivity growth since the late 1990s, outside cyclical recovery periods. The figures suggest a notable improvement in U.S. workforce efficiency within the period referenced.
