Canada attracts more foreign investment per capita than any G7 nation, Corey Hogan notes
Canada tops G7 in foreign investment

Canada is currently attracting more foreign investment per capita than any other country in the G7, according to Corey Hogan. He highlighted that this is about double the level of the next closest G7 country and marks Canada’s highest foreign investment inflow per capita in 18 years.

Hogan states that increased investment contributes to more jobs, stronger economic growth, and greater opportunities.

Hogan previously reported record oil and gas output in Canada. He noted that government revenue from the sector helped lower pump prices during global fuel spikes. The data on foreign investment comes as energy and resource sectors continue to draw international capital.
