Combining Avalanche with proof of work is possible, Emin Gün Sirer notes
Emin Gün Sirer, CEO / Founder at Ava Labs, commented that if Litecoin operated as an Avalanche layer 1 network, blockchain reorganizations (reorgs) would not be possible.
He added that it is feasible to combine the Avalanche consensus protocol with proof of work mechanisms.
Sirer has previously compared Avalanche and Bitcoin, stating that Avalanche is well suited for advanced technological development initiatives.
