Bijan Tehrani: Platform could limit streamer botting with discovery and ad revenue controls
Tehrani urges streamer botting controls

Content creator Bijan Tehrani proposed targeted measures to address botting among streamers.

In a recent tweet, Tehrani suggested that platforms should restrict exposure for accounts suspected of botting by reducing their discovery and eliminating their eligibility for ad revenue. He also noted that streamers affected by malicious bot attacks can request a manual cap on views, a protocol he said is already in place. Tehrani acknowledged in the same message that his previous statements about Twitch may have been unfair, clarifying his position on the issue.

Tehrani has previously commented on industry challenges facing content creators. He recently said that Club is developing a solution for creators with a significant X community presence. Earlier, he addressed ongoing concerns about the fairness of Stake gaming platforms.
