Humanoid robots near 24-hour milestone

Innovator Brett Adcock shared an update on progress in autonomous robotics, reporting that humanoid robots are two hours away from completing 24 hours of uninterrupted work. According to Adcock, the robots—named Bob, Frank, and Gary—have sorted more than 28,000 packages in total and remain operational and healthy. This development highlights ongoing advancements in robotics and their increasing capability for sustained, real-world automation tasks.

Earlier this year, Adcock reported that Figure's F.04 robot design reached full lock, with part shipments beginning and new engineering milestones achieved (link). The company also trained two robots to make a bed autonomously, with performance exceeding that of most humans, according to Adcock (link). These previous developments mark steady progress in machine autonomy.
