Peter Berezin reports that the proportion of U.S. businesses with paid OpenAI subscriptions is declining. The company currently has $600 billion in spending commitments and targets a tenfold increase in revenue to $280 billion by 2030, up from the present run rate of around $25–$30 billion.
Berezin has previously outlined his sustained optimism on markets, carrying a bullish outlook from the 2010s through 2024. He also suggested that higher real terms spending in some sectors could be linked to increases in memory prices. These observations add context to recent shifts in business adoption of AI subscriptions.
