Anndy Lian: Bitcoin trades at $77,388 as crypto market falls
Anndy Lian reports that Bitcoin is trading at $77,388.34, marking a 0.96% decrease in the past 24 hours. The total crypto market capitalization also declined 1.34% to $2.57 trillion.
Lian highlights the 80% thirty-day correlation between crypto and the S&P 500, suggesting that digital assets are increasingly behaving like risk assets. Traditional equity markets also experienced declines, including the S&P 500.
Earlier this month, Lian reported that Bitcoin climbed from $80,500 to $82,400, resulting in the total crypto market cap nearing $2.8 trillion. More recently, he noted a 1.29% increase in overall crypto market value to $2.68 trillion as Telegram assumed operations of TON and reduced transaction fees. These developments come as digital assets increasingly move in sync with traditional equity markets.
