Sixty million account for 48 percent of global wealth, Frank Chaparro notes
Top 1.6 percent hold 48 percent wealth

Frank Chaparro highlights that only 60 million adults worldwide, or 1.6 percent of the adult population, possess a net worth exceeding $1 million.

These individuals collectively control 48 percent of global wealth, according to the UBS Global Wealth Report 2025. In contrast, the bottom 1.55 billion adults hold just 0.6 percent of the world's wealth.

Chaparro previously reported that Morgan Stanley's bitcoin ETF attracted $194 million in inflows in its first month. He also cited JPMorgan projections that Strategy's bitcoin buying could reach $30 billion this year if purchasing trends continue. These developments come as wealth concentration remains pronounced at the global level.
