Czech Republic hikes while Brazil and Russia cut rates, Charlie Bilello notes
Central banks shift rates in three nations

Charlie Bilello, chief market strategist at Creative Planning, LLC, highlights recent moves by global central banks. The Czech Republic raised interest rates by 25 basis points to 3.75% for the first time in four years. Brazil lowered its rates by 25 basis points to 14.25% in its third consecutive meeting, while Russia also reduced its rates by 25 basis points to 14.25% for the ninth time in its current cycle.

Bilello has tracked major index milestones in addition to central bank activity. He recently noted that the S&P 500 closed out the week with four consecutive all-time highs, bringing the year-to-date total to 22. Bilello also highlighted when the Nasdaq Composite climbed above 27,000 for the first time.
